Its thats time of year again! In Michigan we dont know if this time of year will come in December or January. This year it's late January. The snow is falling and the school closings are frequent. Today my place of employment actually closed early for the first time I've ever known since working there. The high temperature in the next two days is -2 degrees. The wind chill is expected to be anywhere through -30 degrees. I can remember a time in my youth walking to school in these temperatures. I have no idea how I was able to do that. I find that the older I get, the more I feel that the cold just shuts me down. I need hearty meals and warm drinks. I must have a winter coat with a hood that comes past the butt and warm boots. Thick creamy lotions and petroleum jelly for my skin and lips.
